The Makro•Grip® Ultra base body in a short version with a length of 96 mm is used to extend the 400/415/423 basic set, in order to increase the clamping range from 410 mm to 810 mm. To realize this extension, it is not necessary to purchase a new base set, but only two of these base bodies, two connecting plates and a spindle unit with a length of 810 mm.
